Linde operates one of the country’s few pediatric ventilator units at St. Margaret’s Center, a premier nursing facility that is part of the Center for Disability Services’ network.Linde’s innovative REMEO® services consist of turnkey mechanical ventilation solutions for infants, children, young adults and adults at St. Margaret’s – including respiratory therapists, gases and equipment. St. Margaret’s pediatric nurses work side-by-side with Linde respiratory team members to provide highly specialized care, 24 hours a day.The telethon will feature a live feed from the REMEO® ventilation unit at St. Margaret’s. The Linde technology and teams that operate the 18-bed unit will be featured. One Linde spokesperson scheduled for an on-camera interview is Gene Gantt, Linde business development manager for the REMEO® respiratory service.“Together, Linde and St. Margaret’s are accomplishing some wonderful things at this state-of-the-art respiratory unit,” said Gantt. “In some cases, we’re getting kids off ventilators and helping them go home. It will also be a pleasure helping the Center for Disability raise much-needed funds.
